The Marketing Director is responsible for informing the public about services, memberships, new store merchandise, and sales opportunities. The Marketing Director should be capable of devising strong marketing strategies, which directly reach potential consumers. Both the Marketing and Communications Directors should work closely with each other to ensure external communication follows company tone, strategy, target audience, as well as mitigates the possibility of crisis situations due to breaking news. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in marketing or higher, Sales and advertising experience are required.
